Edamame Shio Butter Potato Snack

I am a huge sucker for anything Japanese. Especially their snacks, even though most of the time I have no idea what I’m actually consuming, but they taste great all the same. Of course I went crazy in the Japanese supermarkets, 7-elevens and Lawson when I was there, I came home with a carton of Calbee potato snacks. #notevensorry

I was in Mediya at Liang court stocking up (ugh, it’s so much more expensive here) and chanced upon this limited edition Jagariko Edamame Shio Butter snack, and of course I had to have it! It’s butter! It’s edamame! It’s limited edition!

They’re like super crunchy and hard french fries, and addictive to boot. But to be honest, I couldn’t really taste the edamame, it just tastes like buttery potato snack to me. It does have a slightly oily finish, so you really should have some water next to you to wash it down. Still finished the whole thing though, once you start you can’t stop. And if you can’t finish it, you can put it in the fridge and continue the next day and they’re still super crunchy. #magic #snackhack

Calbee offers these snacks a variety of flavours, Mentaiko being my absolute favourite. Seriously, how can you ever go wrong with Mentaiko. And if you have any other favourite flavours for these do let me know in the comments! It’s my life’s mission to conquer them all.

Just wanted to say WHAT A CUTE BARCODE
